"The moment I found a way to take this immense energy created by grief and turn it into wind for sailing into happiness, my life changed."

Ioana Cozarescu Kind
Premium coaching for working parents

Hi, I am Ioana

I know You are curious to know more about what I bring with me to serve You with powerful private Coaching.

I have almost 20 years of experience in various fields of Social Work. I have consulted parents with children with special needs, I have been a youth consultant and have worked as mathematics teacher for teenagers with learning challenges.

My background in special needs education serves You by me bringing a systemic look on your challenges and supporting you not only in shifting your mindset but also in building yourself a support system that works.

Experience

I have also worked for many years as a multinational project manager for a non profit organization, Caritas Switzerland, where I have build up a project with care givers under safe regulations. I have lead a team of 20 people and finished my Master of Science in Management of Health and Social services.

This part of my background serves You by me being mindful of intercultural challenges, limitations AND possibilities. Especially if You are an expat working parent, I can teach you the skills to effectively move in a multicultural setting and create deeper and sustainable connections. I teach impactful methods of Management to help you successfully lead change in your life, especially during crisis.

Voluntary work

For the last seven years I have done voluntary work with the Widowed Parents Association in Switzerland ( Aurora) and have been consulting young widowed parents. Because my vast professional background is complemented by my personal story. I have come to Switzerland at 18y old, alone, to study and have build up an integrated connected life here.
When my husband got his cancer diagnosis and died a few weeks after, I thought my life as a thriving human is over. How could I possibly do it all alone as a young widowed working mother of two? Working hard was my first answer and it didn’t save me. It lead to a burnout a few years after.

It is only then that I started radically rethink my approach to my life and search for a different way to live it.

My experience with grief, loss and burnout serves You by talking to someone who has walked the line and knows first hand how hard and big and unsurmontable that mountain of change looks like.

Unique adventures

It is the moment that I started to radically challange the way I was thinking about performance and thriving under adversity that my life changed. After my burnout, I didn’t want to wait for the «right moment» to go on adventures anymore. I didn’t want to wait for a better day when the kids would be older. I didn’t want to «first finish work» and then take a break.

It is when I started to put adventures first that deep happiness returned to me. And with it, performance on a sustainable positive level. Performance without anxiety.

I am curently learning for my sailing permit and plan to learn how to fly next.

How about You? What makes You wake up in the morning without hitting the snooze button? What gives You tremendous energy besides work AND family? What adventures do You want to go on?
